Long-Serving Code Enforcement Agent, Mr. Benavidez, Retires

After a distinguished 12-year tenure as a code enforcement agent with the Rio Grande City Planning and Zoning Department, Mr. Rolando Benavidez has decided to embark on a well-deserved retirement. Throughout his dedicated service, Mr. Benavidez played an important role in upholding and enforcing zoning codes, ensuring the orderly and safe development of the city.

 

His attention to detail and commitment to maintaining community standards have earned him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and residents alike. Mr. Benavidez's contributions have significantly contributed to the enhancement of Rio Grande City's urban environment, leaving behind a legacy of diligence and professionalism. “As he enters this new chapter in life, the community expresses gratitude for his firm dedication to the principles of code enforcement and wishes him a fulfilling and enjoyable retirement,” stated RGC P&Z Director Gilbert Millan.
