Juan F. Zuniga ( City Manager ) has over 18 years of experience in the municipal government field. He served as planning director, associate municipal judge, and deputy city manager for the city of San Juan. He has served on numerous boards which include: the Hidalgo County Metropolitan Planning Organization (HCMPO), the South Texas Aggregation Project (STAP), the Sharyland Lions Club and the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s (NSHMBA). Juan holds an Associate of Applied Science from TSTI, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Economics Minor) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas – Pan American. Mr. Zuniga is married to Maria Del Pilar Zuniga and they have two children, Christopher and Juan F. Zuniga II.
